Sub-Zero CL3650F Classic all-freezer repair, 36-inch
The CL3650F is a current 36-inch Classic all-freezer, normally installed as part of a column pair or inside a larger built-in wall. Newer than the older BI- units, it is still a sealed refrigeration system with fans, heaters and gaskets that need to work together. Also sold as ICBCL3650F, the ICB-prefixed version of the same unit.
When frost piles up, we follow it back to the cause. A tired door gasket, a door not hanging square or a defrost circuit that does not clear the coil can all produce the same picture. Water under the bottom basket generally means ice has formed over the drain, so we clear it and test what let it freeze.
Because this is a current model, parts and service documentation are easier to get than for older series, which tends to shorten repairs. We give a written price first and cover the work with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Ice usually blocks the drain, and meltwater has nowhere to go. That tends to follow a defrost problem. We clear the drain and test the heater and termination device so it does not freeze over again.
Yes, ICB is a prefixed version of the same unit. We match parts using the data plate inside the cabinet, so either name on your paperwork leads to the same repair.
Generally yes. It is a current model, and documentation is more readily available than for the discontinued series. We confirm part availability when we write the estimate, before you approve anything.
