What 10-3-00 means

On Sub-Zero Designer units like the DET3050CI and DEC3050R, 10-3-00 means the zone 3 sensor reads open. On Classic BI models such as the BI-36U/S and BI-48SD/S, the same code refers to the condenser sensor reading open. An open reading means the control sees no signal at all, so it cannot judge the temperature of that zone or condenser. Depending on the platform, cooling may become erratic or the unit may protect itself by limiting operation.
