Sub-Zero Designer Code 35-A-00: Air filter fan open

What 35-A-00 means

Designer integrated columns like the DET3050CI and DEC3050R use 35-A-00 when the air filter fan circuit is open. On these models the fan moves cabinet air through the air purification cartridge. With the circuit open, the control cannot run the fan, so air cleaning stops even with a fresh cartridge installed. Cooling usually continues as normal, but odors from strong foods may linger longer and ethylene from produce is no longer filtered.

Does 35-A-00 affect temperatures?

Should I replace the cartridge?
