Sub-Zero Designer Wine (IW) Code 15-3-01: zone 3 cooling stuck on

What 15-3-01 means

On Designer Wine (IW) series units, for instance the IW-30 or IW-30CI, Sub-Zero uses 15-3-01 when the zone 3 compressor relay is stuck closed. The control wants the compressor to rest once zone 3 is cold enough, but the relay holds power on. Zone 3 may become colder than set, the unit runs continuously, and the display carries 15 3 01.

Welded contacts on the zone 3 compressor relay

A wiring short downstream of the relay
