On IW-series Designer Wine Storage, such as the IW-24 and IW-30CI, 90-H-84 means the high voltage micro (CMM) did not initialize. At power-up, the control and the high voltage side should start talking in a set order; here that startup did not complete. The unit may not start cooling, and 90 H 84 shows on the display. The keypad may light up even so.
1. Turn off the breaker, wait a full minute, and turn it back on. 2. Watch whether the unit starts cooling. 3. Avoid repeated rapid resets. 4. Book service if the code returns. 5. If the unit stays silent after restart, keep the doors shut so the cabinet holds its cold as long as possible.
At power-up, the control has to bring the high voltage micro online. 90-H-84 means that step did not finish, so the unit cannot run normally.
One or two resets is fine. If the code returns each time, further resets will not help and may stress the board. Wait a full minute between attempts.
We test the main board and power supply, then quote the repair in writing. Our workmanship carries a 30-day warranty. We confirm the board receives proper power first.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
