BI-36UFDID

Sub-Zero BI-36UFDID French Door Dispenser

Most common issues on this model

  1. Warm, restricted airflow at the grille and a sealed system working harder to compensate
  2. Louder airflow noise from the rear that rises and falls with the cycle
  3. Dispenser giving little or no water, or only a slow trickle

The BI-36UFDID combines French doors with an internal water dispenser, all within a 36-inch cabinet. It is built in flush with surrounding cabinetry and is also sold as ICBBI-36UFDID. We also check how the French doors meet in the middle, since an uneven seam lets warm air in and makes every other problem worse.

With this much packed into one cabinet, airflow is everything. A grille full of dust leads to heat, heat leads to fans working harder, and rear-wall fan noise follows. We clean the condenser area first, then listen to each fan on a running cabinet. The dispenser is checked from the filter forward, and we only replace the part that is truly restricting flow.

You approve a written price before work starts, and repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.

BI-36UFDIDBI-36UFDID questions
Is ICBBI-36UFDID the same as the BI-36UFDID?

It is an alternate name for the same unit, so the repair is identical. We confirm using the data plate inside the cabinet. Parts are the same either way.

Why did my BI-36UFDID start making fan noise?

Ice or debris may be touching a fan blade, or a motor may be wearing. We find the exact fan on a running cabinet before ordering anything.

My BI-36UFDID dispenser only drips. Where do you begin?

We begin at the water filter and supply line, then inspect the inlet valve and the tubing inside the cabinet for ice. The part that restricts flow is the one we replace.
