Sub-Zero Classic BI Code 50-U-80: Water system not communicating

What 50-U-80 means

Classic BI units such as the BI-36U/S and BI-48SD/S log 50-U-80 when the water system has no communication with the main control. This belongs to the water flow meter group of codes, so the control cannot read water flow data. Without that information, ice making and door water may stop or behave unpredictably, while the refrigerator and freezer keep normal temperatures.
