What 40-1-00 means

Sub-Zero Designer Wine Storage IW units, such as the IW-30 and IW-30CI, display 40-1-00 for a zone 1 stepper current problem. The stepper motor for zone 1 is driven by the control in small steps to manage cooling to that zone, and the board monitors the current it draws. Here that current is outside what it expects.
