Sub-Zero 695 Ice and Water Dispenser Refrigerator Repair
What separates the 695 from the 632 and 642 is the dispenser in the door. It has a fill valve and water line of its own, so a dispenser complaint is a plumbing question first and a cooling question much later.
When water slows to a trickle or stops, we begin with the supply line and fill valve. Only if those test fine do we widen the search. For the cabinet itself, the pattern matches other 600 Series units: one side drifting warmer than the other, with a compressor that cycles noticeably more than it once did.
Look for the model and serial plate at the top of the side frame inside the cabinet, near the hinge, and have it ready when you call. Parts can still be ordered, though legacy items arrive more slowly than current ones.
Rarely. A slow or empty dispenser usually comes down to the fill valve or the supply line, which are separate from the cooling system and are what we test first.
A through-the-door ice and water dispenser. It is built on the same 600 Series platform, but the dispenser adds a valve and water line that need their own inspection.
Uneven cooling points to a problem isolated on one side. We compare temperatures, check airflow and seals, and then decide whether the cause is in the cooling circuit.
