Sub-Zero CL3650RG Classic Glass Door
The CL3650RG puts a glass door on the current 36-inch Classic all-refrigerator. It is meant to be seen, so it commonly stands in a display-minded kitchen, a pantry or a dining-room niche. Lighting and the door switch are tested as well, since a glass-door unit is on display and a dark interior is easy to spot.
The most common calls are moisture on the inside of the glass, a cabinet that takes too long to recover after the door has been open, and a display that does not match the temperature. We inspect the pane and door seals, test the condenser airflow, and compare the display with a probe reading. Parts for a current model are generally easier to get, so most jobs move faster.
Pricing is written before we start, and all repairs include a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Most often a worn gasket or pane seal lets humid air reach the cold glass. We test both and correct the leak rather than just wiping the glass. We keep the repair within the budget you approve in writing.
Slow recovery generally comes from restricted grille airflow, a leaking seal or a weak fan. We check those in order, starting with the grille. We tell you the cause in plain terms.
We set a probe in the cabinet and compare it to the display once the temperature settles. A mismatch sends us to the sensor and control.
