Sub-Zero IC-24C Slim Column Repair
The IC-24C is a slim 24-inch column that carries a custom panel to blend into the cabinetry, so from the front it disappears into the wall. It suits small kitchens, bars and secondary prep areas.
Because it is hidden, small signs are easy to miss until they become obvious: a new fan sound, a slow pull-down after the door has been open, or a panel that no longer lines up with the doors around it. We check the fan area and condenser airflow first, then the gaskets, and finally the hinges that carry the weight of the panel. A drooping overlay panel can pull on the seal and make everything else worse.
The price is written before any work, and we give a 30-day workmanship warranty.
A panel that sags pulls on the door and seal, which can let warm air in. We readjust the hinges for the panel weight and check that the seal is still tight. Catching it early is cheaper than repairing a worn door gasket later.
A clogged grille or leaking gasket is the usual reason. We inspect both and check the fans, quoting only what is needed. We check the fans too, and tell you what we find.
Often the panel stays on, though we may remove it to reach hinges or the seal. We handle the panel carefully and refit it to your original reveals. Nothing changes about the look of your cabinetry.
