Sub-Zero UC-15IO Outdoor Ice Maker Repair
The UC-15IO is the outdoor version of the 15″ undercounter ice maker, made from 2009 to 2025. It measures 14 3/4″ wide and 33 5/8″ high, takes a panel, and is usually found under an outdoor counter beside a grill, a bar, or a pool deck.
Outdoor ice makers see water, heat, and dust from every direction. Mineral scale builds in the supply path, the gasket stiffens in the sun, and a storm outage can leave the unit confused when power returns. Slow or cloudy ice, or water on the floor, usually begins in the supply line, filter, or drain. We check the water first, then the seal and the cooling behavior, and then the restart. A written price comes before any work, with a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Cloudy or small ice usually comes from mineral buildup or a slow water supply. We check the inlet and the filter, descale where needed, and confirm the unit freezes at the right temperature.
Shut off the water to the unit and call us. Leaks usually come from a loose supply fitting or a blocked drain, and both are quick to trace once we are on site.
Hot afternoons force the cooling system to work harder, and a dirty condenser or weak seal makes it worse. We clean the coil and check the gasket so output holds in summer.
Book in about a minute, or call the desk. Same-day windows inside the Loop on most days, next-day across the rest of Houston.
