Legacy Designer Wine (IW) storage, the IW-24 and IW-30 for instance, prints this as 10 2 01. It means the zone 2 cabinet thermistor is shorted: the air sensor for zone 2 is reporting a near-zero resistance that cannot match any real temperature. The control then has no trustworthy reading for that zone. Bottles in zone 2 may get too cold or drift warm, and the zone display may show a fixed or impossible number.
1. Compare the zone 2 display with a thermometer placed on a middle rack. 2. Make sure the zone 2 door closes snugly. 3. Wipe up any condensation inside the zone. 4. Turn the breaker off for one minute, then restore it. 5. If 10 2 01 returns, plan a service call.
The sensor circuit reads almost no resistance, as if the two wires were touching. No real temperature produces that value, so the control stops trusting zone 2 and cools by fallback logic.
It usually keeps some cooling, but control is rough. A thermometer on a middle rack shows you how far it has drifted while you wait for the visit.
