Designer Wine (IW) units such as the IW-30 and IW-30R use a DC condenser fan, and 35 C 33 means that fan is set too low. The control has found the condenser fan running below the speed it should for the conditions, so heat may not be leaving the unit fast enough. Owners may notice the unit running longer than usual, warm air building at the grille, or zones that slowly lose their chill on hot days.
1. Clean the grille with a soft brush or vacuum. 2. Make sure nothing in front of the grille blocks airflow. 3. Feel for airflow at the grille after the unit starts. 4. Reset at the breaker once. 5. If 35 C 33 returns, call us.
It can contribute. Lint on the grille and condenser makes the fan work harder and can slow it. Cleaning the grille is a good first step before calling us.
If the condenser fan stays slow, the compressor runs hotter and longer. That is why we recommend checking the fan soon rather than waiting. A clean grille helps meanwhile.
We clean the condenser, test the fan and the control output, and give a written price for any part. Our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
